Software and AI for accounting firms and finance teams

Accounting work is precise, but the documents behind it are messy. We build tools that collect, read and file them, so your team spends its time on the numbers that need judgment.

Common challenges

What slows this industry down

Accounting firms, bookkeepers and in-house finance teams spend a large share of their week on work that is not accounting. They chase clients for documents, open attachments, retype invoice lines, rename files and build the same reports each month. The actual judgment calls get squeezed into what time is left.

Modern AI models are good at reading invoices, receipts and statements and turning them into structured data. Combined with the APIs of accounting systems such as Xero and QuickBooks, they can remove most of the retyping. The key is to check the output and keep people in charge of what gets posted.

We build client portals, document intake and processing pipelines, and reporting dashboards around the accounting system you already use. Every automated step leaves a record, confidence levels decide what needs review, and your team approves anything unusual before it reaches the books.

Chasing client documents

Receipts, statements and forms arrive late, by email, in every format imaginable.

Manual data entry

Invoice lines and receipt totals are typed into the accounting system one by one.

Files everywhere

Documents sit in inboxes, shared drives and desktops, with no consistent names.

Monthly reporting

Management reports are rebuilt by hand each month from several exports.

Accuracy and audit trail

Every figure must be traceable to its source document when a client or auditor asks.

What we build

What we build for this industry

The services accounting firms and finance teams ask us for most often.

Customer portals

A secure place where your customers upload documents, check status, pay and message your team.

Document automation

Read invoices, forms, contracts and IDs, pull out the right fields and route them for review.

Dashboards and reporting

Dashboards that pull numbers from the systems you already use and show what matters without a spreadsheet.

API integration

Make two systems share data reliably, with retries, logging and alerts when something goes wrong.

Solutions that fit

Problems we solve here most often

Invoice processing

Read supplier invoices, match them to orders and push approved ones into accounting, with exceptions flagged for review.

Receipt capture and matching

Snap a receipt, and the details are read, categorized and matched to the card transaction and the right project.

Automated reporting

Reports that build themselves from your systems on schedule, with a plain-language summary of what changed.

AI document processing

Read forms, applications, IDs and statements, extract the fields you need and route each document for the right review.

Work in this industry

In practice

What it looks like in practice

An illustrative walk-through, not a client story.

A bookkeeping firm with two hundred small business clients sets up a client portal. Each month, clients upload receipts and bank statements from their phone or forward them to a dedicated address. The portal shows each client what is still missing, which cuts the number of reminder emails.

An AI model reads each receipt and invoice, extracts the supplier, date, amounts and tax, and suggests an account based on past postings for that client. Items with high confidence are prepared as drafts in the accounting system. Items with low confidence, or anything above a set amount, go to a bookkeeper to check. Every entry keeps a link to its source document, so questions at year end take minutes instead of hours.

Because every step is logged, partners can see how many documents were processed, how many needed review and where errors came from. That makes it easy to tune the rules over time.

Where to start

Where most finance and accounting teams start

Most firms start with invoice processing or receipt processing because the volume is high and the time saved is easy to measure. Both connect to Xero, QuickBooks and similar systems through their APIs.

The next step is usually a client portal for document collection, followed by automated reporting and dashboards for clients who want to see their numbers during the month rather than after it. We schedule changes outside month end and year end, so your team is never learning a new tool during a close.
