What it does and why it matters
Make is a visual automation platform used to connect apps with multi-step scenarios. Its official MCP server takes a clever approach: your active and on-demand scenarios become tools the assistant can run. On paid plans, it can also view and modify scenarios, connections, webhooks, data stores and teams.
That means the automations you have already built and tested become actions an assistant can trigger in plain English.
Because tools are generated from your scenarios, Make does not publish fixed tool names, and none are listed here. Only expose scenarios that are safe to run on request, and keep management features limited to administrators.
This approach has a real advantage: each action the assistant can take is a scenario your team already built, tested and understands. The assistant decides when to run it, and the scenario controls exactly what happens.

Make does not publish fixed tool names. Scenario tools are generated from your active and on-demand scenarios (names capped at 56 chars by default). Management tools (scenarios, connections, webhooks, data stores, teams) depend on OAuth scopes and paid plans.
