Why it matters
What it does and why it matters
Confluence is the company wiki for many organizations, full of policies, runbooks, specs and meeting notes. Atlassian's official Rovo MCP server lets an assistant search Confluence, read pages, list spaces and content, read comments, create and update pages, add comments and add labels.
That makes the wiki answerable: "what is our process for a security incident" becomes a question with a sourced answer.
The same server also covers Jira and other Atlassian products. It moved to a new endpoint in 2026 and was renamed the Rovo MCP Server, so older setups need updating. Sign-in follows Atlassian permissions, so answers only draw on pages the user can see.
