Automation and Integrations
Connect Google, Microsoft, accounting and shipping tools to your software
Your software should work with the tools your team already lives in. We connect it to email, calendars, documents, accounting, shipping and marketing platforms.
The problem
The problem this solves
Custom software rarely lives alone. Your team uses Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 for email, calendars and files. Finance uses QuickBooks or Xero. Operations uses a shipping platform. Marketing uses Mailchimp or a similar tool. Customers message you on WhatsApp. When your own system cannot talk to these, staff copy information between them all day.
Each of these platforms has its own API, sign-in method, rate limits, data formats and rules for approval. Some require an app review before you can access customer data. Some change their APIs every year. Getting the integration working is one job; keeping it working is another.
We build integrations with the major platforms regularly and know where the traps are. We handle authentication and token refresh, respect rate limits, map data carefully and monitor each connection. Where a well-maintained no-code connector exists and fits, we use it. Where volume, logic or data sensitivity call for custom code, we write it, often as part of a larger workflow automation.
Typical examples include creating calendar events from bookings, saving documents to the right Google Drive or SharePoint folder, syncing invoices to accounting, generating shipping labels from orders, adding customers to email lists with consent, and sending WhatsApp or SMS notifications.
Many of these platforms also have MCP servers now, so the same connections can give AI assistants controlled access. See our productivity and communication MCP categories.
We keep a register of every connection, its credentials owner and its renewal dates, so integrations do not silently stop when a token or app approval expires. Renewals appear in your calendar weeks before they are due, with a note on what to do.

AI and people
Where AI helps, where people decide
AI makes the repetitive parts faster. The decisions that shape your product stay with experienced people.
Where AI speeds things up
-
Reading platform API docs and drafting client code.
-
Mapping fields between your system and each platform.
-
Generating tests with platform sandbox accounts.
-
Drafting app review submissions and privacy descriptions.
-
Summarizing connection logs and failures.
Where people decide
-
Which tools are worth integrating.
-
Custom code or no-code connector for each.
-
What customer data may be shared with each platform.
-
Consent rules for marketing and messaging.
-
Who owns each connection after launch.
Is this right for you?
When this is the right choice
A good fit when
-
Staff copy data between your software and everyday tools.
-
You want bookings, invoices or orders to flow into other platforms automatically.
-
An existing connector does not handle your volume or logic.
Consider something else when
-
A built-in integration between the two tools already exists and works.
-
The data moves rarely enough that a manual export is fine.
Timeline and cost
What affects the timeline and cost
A single integration with a well-documented platform often takes days to a couple of weeks. Platforms that require app review or verification can add waiting time outside our control.
We do not publish fixed prices because scope drives cost. How we estimate.
-
Number of platforms
Each platform has its own API and quirks.
-
Approval requirements
Some platforms require security reviews before launch.
-
Sync direction
Two-way sync needs conflict handling.
-
Volume
High volumes need batching and careful rate-limit handling.
-
Platform costs
Some APIs charge per call or require paid plans.
-
Data sensitivity
Customer data shared with third parties needs consent and checks.

Questions about third-party integrations
Have a question that is not here? Ask us directly.
Yes. Common examples are calendar bookings, saving files to Drive and sending email from your system. Some data access requires Google's app verification, which we guide you through.
QuickBooks and Xero most often, and others with usable APIs. See billing and payments.
Zapier and similar tools are great for simple, low-volume flows. Custom integrations suit higher volume, complex logic or sensitive data. We recommend per connection.
Monitoring alerts us to failures, and we track platform change notices for the APIs we use. See API integration.
